HOPE, Ark.—John E. Landon, 67, of Prescott, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016. Mr. Landon was born March 12, 1949, in Casper, Wyo. He a construction worker, a Master Mason with Windell-Texarkana Lodge No. 1200 and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Woodberry Landon of Prescott; two sons, John Edward Robinson of Texarkana and Mark Landon of Chester Peek, Va.; one daughter, Jennifer Landon of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Harold Martin; two sisters, Linda Landon Willis of Texarkana and Venda Fletcher of Mich.; four stepchildren, Maria Jackson and Alice Allen of Norfolk, Va., Delvin Flemons of Prescott, Ark., Erica Phillips of Texarkana; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church, Hope. Burial will be in Elizabeth Cemetery, Blevins, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
