Wanda Joan Barrett, 70, of Wake Village, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016. Mrs. Barrett was born April 24, 1946, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was retired from E-Z Mart Inc. and a Christian. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, John David Barrett Sr. and Kevin Henry Sr. and Adriane Barrett. of Wake Village; one daughter, Sarah R. Barrett of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Patrick Brown of Mount Pleasant; one grandson, Garvin D. Barrett; two granddaughters, Lacey R. Barrett and Krystal D. Barrett; the father of her children, John David Barrett Sr. of Wake Village; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home.
