JERRY WHITEHORN

ATLANTA, Texas—Gerald "Jerry" Whitehorn, 73, of Atlanta died Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospice. Mr. Whitehorn was born Aug., 15, 1943, in Atlanta. He was retired from International Paper and a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta. Survivors include his wife, Jan Whitehorn of Atlanta; one son and daughter-in-law, Toby and Tamara Whitehorn of Texarkana; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kim and Scott Burt and Karen Meinzer of Wake Village, Texas; his mother, Virgie Whitehorn of Atlanta; one brother, Danny Whitehorn of Round Rock, Texas; two sisters, Gin Thompson of Conroe, Texas, and Martha Welch of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pinecrest Cemetery, Atlanta, with Wes Chambers officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
