CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Johnny Earl Ellis, 69, of Paris, Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, in Paris, Texas. Mr. Ellis was born Feb. 3, 1946, in Chicota, Texas. He was an Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Eldrion Ellis. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ellis of Paris, Texas; three children and two spouses, Chrischeryl and Tim McDaniel of Grand Prairie, Texas, Reginald and Camellia Ellis of Paris and Tamique Akins of Desoto, Texas; two sisters, Lizzie Mae Washington of Arlington, Texas, and Linda Hicks of Paris; one brother, Edward L. Ellis of Arlington; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Citizens Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Spivey officiating.
