ERMA HORTON

HOPE, Ark.—Erma Jean Horton, 73, of Hope died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in a Texarkana hospital. Mrs. Horton was born Aug. 3, 1942. She was formerly employed with Tyson Foods and Champion and a member of Mount Sinai CME Church. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Horton and Tina Ramsey of Hope; four sons, Calvin Horton, Steven Horton and David Horton of Hope and James Horton of Monticello, Ark.; one sister, Lizzie Connor of Hope; one brother, James Pennington of hope; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Flower-Hill Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
