NEW BOSTON, Texas—Elsie Louise Anderson Tong, 89, of New Boston, Texas, died Friday, July 22, 2016, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Tong was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Wildwood, N.J. She was a homemaker, a member of Order of Eastern Star and a Protestant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tong; and one son, Ray Tong Jr. Survivors include two sons, Howard Tong of New Boston and Sandy Jefford of Kentucky; two daughters, Patricia Dillard of Kentucky and Doris Compton of Little Rock; one brother, Albert Anderson of New Jersey; two sisters, Colleen Rogers and Patricia Dillard of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Alleene Cemetery, Alleene, Ark. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
