NANCY OATES

Nancy Lee Oates, 86, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, July 23, 2016, in an Atlanta, Texas nursing home. Mrs. Oates was born June 8, 1930, in Madison, Wis. She was a homemaker and a member of Texarkana Country Club and First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Myrick Oates Sr. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Susan Oates of Texarkana, two daughters and one son-in-law, Patti and Tony Hadaway of Texarkana and Teri Rosenzweig of Wilsonville, Ore.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
