ATLANTA, Texas—Opie O. Neilson, 99, of Atlanta, Texas, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at his home. Mr. Neilson was born July 23, 1916, in Missouri. He was a retired Master Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force and a Lutheran. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Neilson at Atlanta, Texas; one son, Bruce Neilson of Los Angeles, Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Jim Neal Yuba City, Calif. one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Charlotte and Sam Durmon of Atlanta, Texas; one grandchild, Shannon Adams; two great-grandchildren, Aric Adams and Ella Adams; and a number of other relatives.
