CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Thula Gay Simmons Eudy, 68, of New Boston, Texas, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospice. Mrs. Eudy was born March 14, 1948, in Houston, Texas. She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by one son, Samuel Ellis Winkle. Survivors include one son, Anthony Winkle of Bagwell, Texas; two grandchildren, Anthony Bryon Winkle and Tonya Lee Winkle; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in English Cemetery with the Rev. Don "Dink" Benton officiating under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. There will be no formal visitation.
