ONEIDA ROQUEMORE

ATLANTA, Texas—Oneida Roquemore, 95, of Bivins, Texas, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, in a local hospital. Ms. Roquemore was born Oct. 31, 1920, in Bivins. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. Survivors include eight children, Randolph Roquemore, Rudolph Roquemore, Theartis Roquemore, Kenneth Roquemore, Dorothy Fuller, Margie Mack, Martha Roquemore and Gertrude Jackson; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church with Eddie L. Matthews Sr. officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
