PHYLLIS HERRON

Phyllis Maxine Herron, 82, of Wake Village, Texas, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Herron was born June 13, 1933, in Woodward, Okla. She was retired from Kmart Department Store and a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Randy Herron of Fouke, Ark., Ricky Herron of Texarkana, Texas, and Ronny Herron of Omaha, Texas; one daughter, Roxanne Hamilton of Wake Village, Texas; five sisters, Hazel Thomas, Ruby McKinney of Texarkana, Ark., Wanda Colorigh of Texarkana, Texas, Merle Ely of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Twyla Moore of Queen City, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
