CHARLES ONEAL SR.

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Charles Ray Oneal Sr., 87, of Hammond, La., died Sunday, May 22, 2016. Mr. Oneal was born May 27, 1928, in Boxelder, Texas. He was a pilot. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Matthew Grant Oneal. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Mitchell Oneal; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas Dow Oneal of Hammond and Charles Ray Jr. and Diane Oneal of Lafayette, La.; one daughter, Carrol Sue Oneal Gilcrease of Hammond; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Clarksville Funeral Home with Charles Oneal Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Boxelder Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
