DeKALB, Texas—Carol J. Moore, 52, of DeKalb died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 in a Dallas hospital. Ms. Moore was born Dec. 28, 1963, in DeKalb. She was a dietary manager with Sunny Acres Nursing Home and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, DeKalb. Survivors include one daughter, Christian Joenette Watts of Mesquite, Texas; her father, Otis Moore of DeKalb, Texas; three sisters, Betty Gray and Juanita Moore of DeKalb and Ruby Ingram of Carrollton, Texas; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Otis Jr. and Constance Moore of Annona, Texas, Marcus Arnell of DeKalb and Delbert Lee Moore of Amarillo, Texas; three grandchildren; and a number of other realtives. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the DeKalb High School Gymnasium with the Revs. Melvin Gray, Mike Grey and Clifton Murray Jr. officiating.
