Elaine Sewell

Elaine Sewell, 82, of Texarkana, AR passed away October 19, 2016 in a local hospital. Mrs. Sewell was born July 23, 1934 in Streetman, TX. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church; and Eastern Star #576. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Sewell; son-in-law, Fred Barker, III; and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Don Sewell of Texarkana, AR; daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Kenneth McLaughlin of Texarkana and Janet Sewell of Linden, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Sinclair and Montez O'Neil of Mesquite, TX; granddaughter, Angie McLaughlin of Texarkana, grandsons, Donnie McLaughlin and his wife, Christie of Dallas, TX, Naaman Sapaugh of Texarkana, Bryan Power of Linden, TX and Cary Barker of Texarkana; and 4 great granddaughters. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Memorial Gardens with Rev. Buddy Hamner officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
