DE QUEEN, Ark.—Daniel Eugene "Dan" Alspaw, 67, of Ashdown, Ark., died Thursday, Oct., 20, 2016 in a local hospital. Mr. Alspaw was born Oct. 27, 1948, in Bakersfield, Calif. He was self employed with Alspaw Properties. He was preceded in death by one daughter, DeeDee Alspaw. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Bow Alspaw of Ashdown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Stacey Alspaw and Duke and Susan Alspaw of De Queen; one daughter, Dannette Alspaw of De Queen; two brother, Darrel Alspaw and Duane of Bakersfield; two sisters, Darline Leah Butler and Dian Watkins of Bakersfield; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Redmen Cemetery with Duane Alspaw officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
