DE QUEEN, Ark.—Effie Mae Milam Klitz, 79, of Winthrop, Ark., died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, in Ashdown, Ark. Mrs. Klitz was born Oct. 28, 1936, in Little River County, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Klitz; and one daughter, Deborah Vaughn. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Klitz and Joel David Klitz of Winthrop; one daughter, Rachel Aldaz of San Antonio; three sisters, Louis Key of Mena, Ark., Mary Jackson of Haworth, Okla., and Shirley McCorkle of Texarkana; four brothers, John Milam of Foreman, Ark., Bill Milam of Cerro Gordo, Ark., Gary Milam of Rogers, Ark., and Wilbur Milam of Horatio, Ark.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Leon Klitz officiating. Burial will be in Pauley Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
