ASHDOWN, Ark.—Katie Babcock, 90, of Ashdown died Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Babcock was born July 2, 1926, in Alleene, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl Babcock. Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn Carver and Clarice Butler of Foreman, Ark.; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Madden Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
