ROY MATTSON

Roy Dale Mattson, 80, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at his home. Mr. Mattson was born March 24, 1936, in Texarkana. He was retired owner of Mattson and Sons Heating and Air and was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ashley Mattson. Survivors include his wife, Jerry Mattson of Texarkana; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Mattson and Rhonda and Allen Phillips of Texarkana; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Cindy Mattson, Robert "Bo" and Tammy Mattson and Troy and Karen Mattson of Texarkana; three brothers; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Ark., with Carl Akin and Eric Akin officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will follow services at the funeral home. Relatives will be at the home of Bo and Tammy Mattson, 420 South Mosley Road, Texarkana, Ark.
