ASHDOWN, Ark.—Mary Taaffe Board, 88, of Foreman, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, in Longmont, Colo. Mrs. Board was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Foreman. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Foreman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Board. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Maria Board of Covington, La.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and James Bessette and Kristina and Aaron Leonard of Eric, Colo.; one sister-in-law, Sue Taaffe of Wallace, Ark.; and three grandchildren, Nathan Board, Katie Leonard and Liam Leonard. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of Madden Funeral Home.
