HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Robert Plunkett, 82, of Cason, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016. Mr. Plunkett was born Sept. 29, 1933. Survivors include his wife, Linda Plunkett of Cason; six children, Kim Plunkett of Fort Polk., La., Robin Gazo of Florida, Robert Plunkett II of Pittsburg, Texas, Becky Montgomery and James Glen Welchel of Cason, Texas, and Brenda Kay of Marshall, Texas; one brother, Billy Ray Plunkett of New York; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Cason, with Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in Blevins Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
