H.L. CLIFT

H.L. Clift, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in a local nursing home. Mr. Clift was born June 22, 1933, in Rayville, La. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nan E. Clift; and two sons, Terry Clift and Phil Clift. Survivors include one son, Chuck Clift of Texarkana; one daughter, Nancy Baldwin of Texarkana; one sister-in-law, Betty Cook of Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Brandee Clift-Henry, Jason Calicott, Ryan Clift and Jennifer Clift-Cobos; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial is under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
