JEANETTE MELTON

Charlotte Jeanette Melton, 77, of Nash, Texas, died Friday, April 21, 2017 in a local hospice. Mrs. Melton was born Jan. 18, 1940 in Bruce, Miss. She was a retired hair stylist and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Melton of Nash; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Beth Melton of Texarkana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Ed Soriano of Flower Mound, Texas, and Jan and Johnny Hall of Avery, Texas; eight siblings; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Owen officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
