NAPLES, Texas—Melody Shane Alford, 60, of Omaha, Texas, died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Alford was born July 13, 1956, in Clintwood, Va. She was retried from The Naples Monitor. Survivors include her husband, David Alford of Omaha; one son, Bobby Alford of Omaha; her stepparents, Carol Sue and Glen Pendleton; two stepbrothers, Carlo Hibbard Jr. of Benton, Ark., and Steve Hibbard of Florida; three stepsisters, Tricia Bach, Barbara Ballenger and Pamela Rich of Richmond, Ind.; a special cousin, Donnie Mullins of Richmond; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harrison Funeral Home with Nolan Richey officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
