MARSHALL COBB

NAPLES, Texas—Marshall Edward "Tiny Bub" Cobb, 82, of Naples died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Mr. Cobb was born Dec. 22, 1934, in Naples. He was a carpenter, former bay leader and explosives operator with Day and Zimmerman and a member of Naples Trail Riders and Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, Naples. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Cobb, in 2006. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Robert Phillips of Naples and Kathy Sue and Robert Simpson of Hooks, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, William and LaTeresa Cobb of Hooks; two sisters, Mary Carpenter and Bernice Higgins of Naples; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Cornett Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
