SAMUEL HAMILTON SR.

IDABEL, Okla.—Samuel Wayne Hamilton Sr., 83, of Bacliff, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at his home. Mr. Hamilton was born Aug. 29, 1933. He was an instrument inspector, employed in insurance, and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Sammy Wayne Hamilton Jr. Survivors include his wife, Bernice Christensen Hamilton; one son and daughter-in-law, Ty Wayne and Mary Hamilton; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Darrin Wayne and Samantha Bailey; two daughters, Kitty Frank and Mindy Chavraunt; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at White Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery, Goodwater community, Okla. Online registration is at whitefamilyfh.com.
