ROYCE GOODMAN

ATLANTA, Texas—Royce Goodman, 87, of Longview, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, in a Longview nursing home. Mr. Goodman was born Aug. 11, 1929 in Linden, Texas. He was retired from General Refractory, Troop, Texas, a member of American Legion Post No. 412 and Center Hill Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Bea Goodman of Longview; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Linda and Bill Clayton of Henderson, Texas; three grandchildren, Angie, Mike, Kevin; one cousin, Barbara Hardy of Atlanta; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Kildare Cemetery with Wes Chambers officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
