ANN POUNDS

PRESCOTT, Ark.—Ann Allison Pounds, 76 of Prescott died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Pounds was born May 20, 1940, in Arkadelphia, Ark. She was a retired elementary teacher with Prescott Public Schools and a member of First United Methodist Church, Prescott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Pounds. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law; Allison and Jim Mark Ingram of Little Rock, Ark., and Jami Louise Pounds of Prescott; one sister; Maurine Stricklin of Arkadelphia; four grandchildren, Austin Ingram, Alex Ingram, Andrew Ingram and Ashley Ingram; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Prescott, with Sue Howe officiating. Burial will be in Copeland Ridge Cemetery, Curtis, Ark., under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
