EDWARD STOKEN

Edward Matthew Stoken, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, in a local nursing home. Mr. Stoken was born May 24, 1931, in Alliquippa, Penn. He was a retired teacher wth TISD and a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include one son, Edward David Stoken; three daughters, Barbara Larey, Kathryn Clayton and Patricia Braley; five grandchildren, Steven Ellis, Lindsey Clayton, Darra Larey, Samantha Larey and Marla Larey; one great-grandson, Prestyn; two sisters; one brother; and a number of other relatives. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Online registration is at texarkanafuneralhome.com.
