CHARLES EDDY

Charles Ferris Eddy, 78, of Genoa, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at his home. Mr. Eddy was born March 25, 1938, in Douglassville, Texas. He was a retired welder and logger, a Christian and a former Marine reservist. Survivors include his wife, Shirley West Eddy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Annette Eddy and David and Kris Eddy of Genoa; one daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Scott Sartor of Genoa; one brother, Kenith Eddy of Gladewater, Texas; two sisters, Patsy Rathburn of Fouke, Ark., and Nancy Ingram of New Boston, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Online registration is at texarkanafuneralhome.com.
