Windell Roger Powell, 63, of New Boston, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at his home. Mr. Powell was born Jan. 29, 1953, in New Boston. He was a home health provider, a member of Prosperity Baptist Church and an Army veteran. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Kendall and Robert Sanders and Kayla McMiller of Dallas; his mother, Arice Ann Powell of New Boston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Grechom and Joyce Powel of New Boston and Victor and Princess Powell of Texarkana; one sister and brother-in-law, Eukalala and Ivory Henderson of Texarkana; and three grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Prosperity Baptist Church, New Boston, with the Rev. David Hood officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
