Boyce Templeton

Graveside services for Boyce Templeton, 92, of Chandler are scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Springdale Cemetery in Queen City with Rev. Randy Reeves officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Templeton passed away July 19, 2017 in Chandler surrounded by his loving family. He worked in the oil field industry from 1948-1996 and then became a driver for Enterprise from 1996-2012. He was a member of Rose Heights Church in Tyler. Survivors include wife, Meleesee Templeton of Chandler; daughter, Deborah Hamilton and husband Jim of Garland; grandson, Chris Kelley and wife Melissa of El Paso; great grandchildren, Devin and Emma Kelley of El Paso; sister, Pansy Bowlin of Doddridge, Arkansas; stepchildren, Ron Reeves and wife Barbara of Chandler, Randy Reeves and wife Shirlene of New Harmony; nine step-grandchildren; 17 step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of East Texas. Boyce loved his family, God, Whataburger, bologna sandwiches, and eating outas long as someone else was paying for it!
