OTIS KENNEDY

HOOKS, Texas—Otis Coll Kennedy, 62, of Hooks died Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Texarkana. Mr. Kennedy was born March 12, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a brick mason. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Kennedy of Hooks; four children, Avan Elrod of Gerna, Ark., Adrian Phillips of Texarkana and Haley Gunter Shaina of Hooks; one stepson, Mitch Jaggears of Ashdown, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Angie Smith of Hooks; three siblings, Danny Kennedy of Cleburne, Texas, Lynn Kennedy of Rio Vista, Texas, and Tammy Kennedy of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday at New Boston Community Center with Mark Hill officiating.
