HOPE, Ark.—William Elvie "Bud" Adams Sr., 74, of Hope died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, in a Magnolia, Ark., nursing home. Mr. Adams was born Dec. 30, 1942 in Powers, Ark. He was a member of Old Washington Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one grandson, William "Billy" Adams. Survivors include his wife, Frances Sanders Adams of Hope; three children, Bill Adams, Jeff Adams and Vickie Terry Adams of Hope; two sisters, Nina Hill and Elaine Hawley; six brothers, Leroy Adams, Raymond Adams, Larry Adams, Tommy Adams, Dennis Adams and Mike Adams; one stepbrother, Johnnie Crider; one stepsister, Judy Pierce; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Jimmy Dale officiating. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery, Cross Roads community, Ark.
