CINDY ROSS

Cindy Louise Ross, 54, of Hooks, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at a local hospital. Mrs. Ross was born May 19, 1963 in Texarkana, Texas. She was formerly employed with Conner and Duffer Insurance Co., New Boston, Texas, and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, David Ross of Hooks; three sons, David Ross II of Holts Summit, Mo., and Justin Ross and Zachary Ross of Hooks; one daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Jeremy Goff of New Bloomfield, Mo.; her parents, Sidney and Freda Coon of Hooks; one sister, Tonya Moore of Alabama; two grandchildren, Maycie Goff and Jaxon Goff; her mother-in-law Gwendolyn Jasik of Poteet, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Schutte officiating. Burial will be in Myrtle Springs Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
