OLLIEWEES MAXEY

Olliewees McKamie Maxey, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at a local hospital. Mrs. Maxey was born March 26, 1928, in Johnson City, Ark. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Maxey; one daughter, Ann Rogers; and two grandsons, Kayle Ivy and Matt Peyton. Survivors include four daughters, Lynn Hall, Jeannie Grisham, Leslee Cleghorn and Terrie Crochet; two sons, Ray Bradshaw and Coy Bradshaw; one sister, Frances Jones; one brother, Bobby McKamie; 17 grandchildren including David Peyton Jr.; and 30 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at East Funeral Home, Downtown with the Rev. Matthew Neese officiating. Burial will be in Water Creek Cemetery, Guernsey, Ark.
