NASHVILLE, Ark.—J.K. Edwards Jr., 88, of Nashville died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, in Nashville. Mr. Edwards was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Mineral Springs, Ark. He was a retired Staff Sargent with the Army, a member of Cross Point Cowboy Church and a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yong Edwards. Survivors include two brothers and one sister-in-law, Glenn Edwards and Clarence and Tonk Edwards; one sister, Mary Lou Shofner; one special niece, Terri Worthington; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bluff Springs Cemetery with Steve Shofner officiating. Burial with military honors will be under direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
