CYNTHIA FLEMING

Cynthia Jane Fleming, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Fleming was born Aug. 14, 1936, in Memphis, Tenn. She was a Girl Scout leader and a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 700 and Red Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Bianca Baird; and one great-grandson, Liam Hamilton. Survivors include her husband, George W. Fleming; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Teresa Fleming; one daughter and son-in-law, Joaquita "Kita" and Tony Welch; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatves. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at East Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Chris Shupe officiating.
