LOIS JESTER
ATLANTA, Texas—Lois Jean Jester, 87, of Queen City, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017.
Mrs. Jester was born Feb. 21, 1930, in Wewoka, Okla. She was a retired seamstress with Henson Kickernick and a charter member of Tanglewood Missionary Baptist Church, Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Jester.
Survivors include one son, John Jester of Atlanta; four daughters, Betty Lambert and Sandra Jester of Queen City, Faye Currey of Ashdown, Ark., and Lisa Downs of Atlanta; two sisters, Pauline Ashton and Mary Catherine McMasters; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Tanglewood Missionary Baptist Church with Gary McNatt officiating. Burial will be in O'Farrell Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the church.
