CHARESA SMITH

Charesa Charrell Smith, 28, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, in Texarkana. Ms. Smith was born Feb. 12, 1989, in New Boston, Texas. She was a home health worker and a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Zarvaski Young of Texarkana; one daughter, Malaysia Smith of Texarkana; her mother, Loresa Smith of New Boston; four brothers, Tayrance Smith of Douglassville, Texas, Shunquelle Smith and Devonte Smith of New Boston and Christopher Young of Linden, Texas; and one sister, DeShunte Young of Conway, Ark. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Boston High School with the Rev. Donald Massey and David Hardy officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery, Douglassville, under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
