CLAUDEAN JOHNSON

Claudean Louise Johnson, 77, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, in a local hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Cass County, Texas. She was employed with Home Health and a member of Sunset Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Casteel and Annette Johnson-White of Texarkana; two brothers, Andrew Miles of Los Angeles and Albert Hightower of Dallas; one sister, Nancy Smith of Rialto, Calif.; three grandchildren, Charles Casteel Jr. of Houston and LaTonya McIvory and Shamesia Casteel of Texarkana; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Baptist Church with the Revs. Corey Brown and Raymond Oliver Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Domino, Texas, under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Online registration is at haynesmortuary.com.
