HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Alice K. Shaddix, 92, of Hughes Springs died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017. Mrs. Shaddix was born May 16, 1925. Survivors include six children, James Shaddix, David Shaddix, Linda McDaniel, Carol Bickham, Annette Burson and Mary Trevino; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Flat Creek Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
