DE QUEEN, Ark.—LaJuana Jean Gilliam Widey, 70, of De Queen died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Widey was born April 29, 1947, in Mena, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Williamson Community Church, Horatio, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wildey. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Carolyn Davis of Hatfield, Ark., and Michael and Jackie Talent of De Queen; three brothers, Jackie Gilliam of Queen City, Texas, John Gilliam of Carson City, Nev., and Harold Gilliam of Elko, Nev.; one sister, Katrina Bartlett of Spring Creek, Nev.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Jimmy Roden officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
