NICOLE HUGHES

Nicole Joneice Hughes, 40, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, in Shreveport, La. Mrs. Hughes was born Sept. 3, 1977. She was a homemaker and a member of House of Refuge. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Hughes of Texarkana; two sons, Jessie Hughes Jr. and Damion Hughes of Texarkana; one daughter, Savanah Hughes of Texarkana; her parents, Arstine Willis of Inglewood, Calif., and Alvie Alexander of Harthorne, Calif.; two brothers, Alvie Alexander Jr. of Los Angeles and Rodrick Russ of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, LeKesha Roshun Gulley of Whittier, Calif.; her grandmother, Catherine Willis of Santa Monica, Calif.; and a number of other relatives.
