MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Melverine Barkwell, 87, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, in Mount Pleasant. Ms. Barkwell was born July 6, 1931. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Temple COGIC, Daingerfield, with L.C. Webster officiating. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery under direction of J.C. White Funeral Home.
