LINDEN, Texas—Ronald L. Baggett, 85, of Linden died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at his home. Mr. Baggett was born July 29, 1933, in Hammon, Okla. He was a retired Colonel with the Army, a deacon, Sunday School teacher and Christian and a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Walton; one daughter, Cheryl Lynette Survivors include his wife, Annette Baggett of Linden; one son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Lenora Baggett of Tonganoxie, Kan.; one daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Allen Anderson of Elk City, Okla.; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, James and Laurel Baggett, Trent and Linda Baggett and Ernestine Baggett; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Bryan Baggett officiating under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
