DeKALB, Texas—Naiome Williams, 88, of DeKalb died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mrs. Williams was born May 8, 1930, in Oak Grove, Texas. She was a retired assembly line worker for Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Lee Williams Sr.; and two daughters, Nolan Austin and Evelyn Ruth Wills. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Melva and Arron Luke Williams of DeKalb, Edna Griffin of McKinney, Texas, Juanita and Ray Smith of Oak Grove, Texas, and Rosetta Threadgill of Texarkana; three sons, Earnest Williams Jr. and Melvin Williams of Oak Grove and Robert Joe Williams of DeKalb; one sister, Mary Joyce Barber of Oak Grove; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church with Edward Moss and Delphin Germany officiating. Burial will be in Garland Cemetery under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
