HOPE, Ark.—Walter S. Conway, 73, of Ozan, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. Mr. Conway was born Aug. 20, 1945, in Ozan. He was a retired Staff Sergeant with the Army, formerly employed with Chrysler Corporation and Detroit Water and Sewage and a Vietnam War veteran. He was preceded in death by one daughter; one stepson, Adrian; and one stepgrandson, Adrian Jr. Survivors include his wife, Myra Conway of Clow, Ark.; four children, Tamiko Conway, Sherman Conway, Dominique Conway Threaths and Lamar Conway; three stepchildren, Stevie Hickman of Atlanta, Ga., Kalisha Mosby of Nashville, Ark., and Knnisha Vaughn of Columbus, Ark.; two brothers, Harold Brandon of Clow, Ark., and Christopher King of Texarkana; three sisters, Lillie Brandon of Detroit, Mich., Valeria Brandon of Flat Rock, Mich., and Stacey Murphy of Texarkana; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Saratoga Gymnasium, Saratoga, Ark. Burial with military honors will be 1 p.m. Monday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
