Samantha Gross

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Samantha Rae Gross, 41, of Kemp, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at a Tyler, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Gross was born Jan. 10, 1977, in Charleston, S.C. She was a certified nursing assistant and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Leslie Gross III of Kemp; three daughters, Ashley Landry of Leary, Texas, Brittani Powers of Texarkana, Texas, and Rachel Gross of Kemp; two sons, Chris Horton and Leslie Gross IV of Kemp; her parents, Charles and Pat Paschen of Leary and Leslie Jr. and Joyce Gross of Eustace, Texas; three brothers, Albert Powers of Midland, Texas, Heath Powers of New Braunfels, Texas, and Charles Paschen Jr. of Goose Creek, S.C.; one sister, Kimberly Paschen of Charleston; her grandparents, Carter and Nell Glass of Clarksville, Va.; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Ringwood Cemetery with Steve Minter officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
