Timothy Cooksey

Timothy Wayne Cooksey, 55, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Cooksey was born April 3, 1962, in Texarkana. He was a worker for Richardson Waste Co. Survivors include one son, Steven Cooksey of Texarkana, Ark.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Billy Cooksey and Noble Marie and Herman Scott of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Denise Cooksey and Rodney and Brenda Anthony of Texarkana, Texas; and one special friend, Helen Vaden of Texarkana, Ark. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Zion Baptist Church with Betty Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.
