Bobby Taylor Sr.

PRESCOTT, Ark.—Bobby Wayne Taylor Sr., 80, of Prescott died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at his home. Mr. Taylor was born April 21, 1937, in Prescott. He was a cattle rancher, former Nevada County judge and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie McKelvy Taylor. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Wayne Taylor Jr. and Randy Kelvy Taylor of Prescott; two daughters, Kathie Marie Smart of Rowlett, Texas, and Corinna Rose Booker of Prescott; one brother, Harvey "Bud" Taylor of Prescott; one sister Betty Sue Ridling of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren, Ashley Marie Pigg, John Tyler Smart, Sara Michelle Booker and Shelbi Lea Booker; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with James Cox officiating,. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
